All smiles

Morgan is starting to smile a little bit. This sort of catches it. It's still a bit of a 'smurk' but it cracks us up when he does it. When he's about to fall asleep he goes through a run-through of every facial expression he's made during the day. We love to watch him fall asleep but then we start laughing and we wake him up. We think he's pretty cute, but we are a little biased.

Our friends Eric & Heidi came down from Greeley to hook us up with a little grub and brought their new son, Nicholas. He and Morgan are about 3 months apart. I'm sure they will grow up to be great friends.

Here's our first "family photo". We were shopping out at the new Southlands Mall and the flowers were so pretty still that we thought it would make a great spot for a photo.

Todd & Rebecca out for a visit

Uncle Todd and Aunt Rebecca visited from Omaha last weekend. They come out every year for a little vaca up in the mountains but this year they had an extra reason... to meet their new nephew. Morgan loved being held by both of them, he even slept for hours while Todd held him. Luckily, he didn't wake them up in the night with his crying fits... something about needing to be changed and/or feed. He's so demanding!

Morgan goes to Ft Morgan

While Bryan has been off these two weeks we decided to take a trip out to Ft Morgan so Morgan could officially meet his Great Grandparets. He behaved pretty well in the car for such a long drive and we only had to stop once to change his diaper. And just for the record... he's not named after Ft Morgan! It's just a coincedence! He is just shy of three weeks old in these pictures.

More Family in town!

Bryan's Aunt Kathy and Uncle Alan and their family came over for a BBQ Sept 1st and to meet their new grand-nephew. Morgan slpet most of the time but I think that just means that he loved being held by his Great Aunt and Uncle!

Morgan Meets Papa Ramon

Bryan's dad came out to meet Morgan and go Dove hunting on Sept 1st. They didn't have much luck with the dove but he did at least get some time in with Morgan. Here's a few photo's of Ramon's visit.

Morgan Meets Grandma & Grandpa Gray

My Mom and Dad came from Omaha to help us with Morgan. They were a huge help while Bryan was work. It was so nice to have someone feed you and not have to worry about putting food on the table! Here's some pictures from their visit. I know that they hated to leave and we hated to see them go. I'm sure that they will be out to visit again soon!

I thought I would put together this blogspot to keep everyone posted on Morgan and how he's growing since we don't get to see family very often. I will do my best to keep updating it with new photo's and updates. These photo's are from the night he was born, Aug 19 at 6:57 pm. He was 7 lbs 9 ozs and 21 inches long. By the way, I was sunburnt from sitting at a golf tournament the day before for work so that's why I'm all RED!
